INTRODUCTION

Meet CHUD.

A native programming language, and a place to build with it.

A language of its own.

CHUD is an independent, ahead-of-time compiled language. Write .chud files, build native Windows x64 executables, and work in CHUD Studio, its dedicated desktop IDE.

The current alpha is a working foundation: a C++ compiler frontend, native code generation, a small runtime, project tools, and a desktop editor. These docs cover what you can use today.

Program.chud
chud CHUD.App;

use CHUD.Core;

public func Main() -> int
{
    CHUD.Print("Hello from CHUD!");
    return 0;
}

Start where you are.

An honest alpha.

Implemented types are int, bool, static UTF-8 strings, and void. Advanced types, heap allocation, packages, and source-level debugging are future work. See the status and roadmap before planning a project.
