Open the Basic assistant tab.
The right-hand assistant pane starts in Basic assistant. It is a local template tool, with no model calls, login, connection or chat context. ChudGPT AI is a separate tab with the real model adapters.
Pick a starting point.

Customize. Preview. Approve.
- Choose a template.
Set its title or greeting. The source preview updates locally.
- Copy or review.
Copy source, or choose Review replacement for the active .chud file.
- Inspect the diff.
Approve and apply changes the buffer. Save explicitly, or use your configured autosave.
Rejecting a replacement leaves the file alone. Suggestions never execute commands or run the program automatically.
Create another source file safely.
Enter a .chud path in an existing project folder, then Create new source file. Existing paths are rejected instead of overwritten.
Find a library call.
